Expect to pay $1200-2000 for a factory 968 Turbo S wing.

I didn't realise that the factory one was still available? What is it made of? You'd think fibreglass rather than c/f wouldn't you?

There was an older post from back in '04 where i think LeadFoot mentioned he had called Porsche Motorsport in Germany and they did have one RS wing on the shelf still. I dont remember exactly how much he said it was but i am pretty sure it was around $3k. Probably more now considering the US Dollar has only gotten weaker in recent years. I just came across a replica hood spoiler from the 968.. now that i have the 'hard to get pieces' (3 pieces of trim) i see a replica RS spoiler in my future... probably the AIR one as its the cheapest of the bunch relatively speaking at $800.

Not that my 147hp needs the adjustable wing...but it would look damn cool (Rice!).

Oh, I was talking about used ones. To my knowledge there are no new ones available anymore.

Well the guy that's doing our c/f hoods has talked about doing one of the 968 turbo rear wings by using the AIR one as a mould. He does great work but is kinda hard to pin down. One for the future.

Any more pics of the LeMans one from GT racing? I recall a black car with it somewhere.

Here's the black car with the GT wing I think you're referring to. Used to be Rick Murphy's but I purchased it a couple years back. These are his pictures but the car looks pretty much the same. I've added GT3 seats and re-done the suspension with all aluminum and monoball bushings/contact points, 650 lb springs up front and 275 in the rear with the existing 30mm torsion bar. Oh, and plus a couple seasons of track days.

Great looking piece. Wouldn't it be nice if someone made one that fit our cars? ;-)

Love the way the car looks! I want that rear spoiler! Let me know when you're ready to get rid of it.

Based on the picture above it looks like it fits right? I don't know what kind of work went into fitting that wing on the car but the end results would be worth it.

That was Rick's car. Always looked great in those track pics. Notice the R.H. side unloading under g's in the top right pic.
