I bought the Zeitronix wideband a few years back and the display stopped working about 2 weeks ago. Upon further investigation I found that the connector on the cable from the unit itself and the connector for the O2 sensor are melted. I unhooked the cable going to the O2 sensor from the control box but I still have no display.
Anyone know if you have to have a signal from the o2 sensor for the display to work or did I ruin the control box?
Thanks in advance

There's been a few posts lately re the Zt2 and people having issues. Do a search and it may shed some light.

you shouldnt need an o2 signal for it to work because its wired right into a power wire, but if the o2 wires melted together it could have shorted the heater wires or something, shorting your unit as well. ANyone else have one you could plug in to test-w/ the 02 unplugged of course.
