Default wasted spark for sale

Bought used wasted spark. Cannot get it to work in my car. Sent it out to John he says the moduale is good. I am a 25 yr electronic installer. Have the 4 wires that go the the DME soidered in 100% perfect. It links when car is running but will not link when you try to start the car. I have put about 15 hrs of trouble shooting. All my wires are good. I dont want to play with it anymore. I think it is an interminted problem with the Wasted spark module. I will let it all go for 400.00 + shipping. I paid 600.00 for it + 50.00 to get the module checked.
Thanks John

You want how much for something that doesn't work? What is it that I don't get?

EdC, First it is a 4 piece unit. I am letting it go for 550.00 then it sells for. Even if it had to be repaired I doubt it would cost that much. All units are testing good. It is just not working in my car. John wants me to ckeck some sensor on my flywheel. I dont have the time for it. As far as John at Vitesse is concerned the piece is GOOD. What do you think I should give it away.

Is he wanting you to check the flywheel position and/or speed sensors? If so, that is stupid easy and not worth taking such a loss. If you have 15 hours into troubleshooting so far, this will only take a few more minutes.

Let me clear a few things, John purchased the kit used, he got it from the 2nd owner.

There are multiple parts in the kit. A few weeks back we tested the box/computer and it worked fine. We started and ran a car with it! Based on John's description, the other components seem to be working (again, we just tested the black box).

The new kit is $850 Here

How much shorter are the wires after you took it out? The ones you connect to the wire bundle to the DME.

If you mean the 4 that go to the DME. They are about 12" long, off the main harness. I think it is about 2" shorter than when I got it. The wireing harness is in fine shape. There is more than enoeph wire.
