Default Stock turbo header panel needed ASAP

My POS Better Bodies/Performance Products vented header panel is now one with I-75 and the tires of some unknown truck. It flew pretty good when it came off; as did all the bad words I could think of.

I need a good panel soon. Anyone got one to part with? (I don't care about color as it will need to be painted)

Thanks

Can anyone tell me why the "header panel" is called a "header panel?"

I loved reading restoration of the breed. Great job Perry. No, if I come across one I will let you know. But you know what, when I go to John Andersons shop he always has cars out front that will be sent to the yard. The header panels are usually on and get sent with the cars. I will ask him for you, if you still need it.

I have one in red, but it has quarter sized bit of rust on the top.

Rust? I thought it was out of galvanized? Or is that just the other body panels...?

I am pretty sure mine is just hanging around my workshop. I will check tomorrow. It is white and in good shape.

I wince when I think of what you wrote about how long you spent on fitting that header panel. I take it it was fragile to boot.

Hey Dan! Not sure about the Fest again this year. Career change, not to mention some mechanical issues to work out. I can't keep fluids where they need to be.

The mounting on the panel sucked, along with the overall quality. I guess vibration took care of what little glass there was on the rear lip where it meets the core bar. Bad thing now is matching the paint; red is always hard. I thought about getting another one, but I already know they won't take it back if it is another POS.

I appreciate everyone checking your parts bins for one.
