I was going to purchase the unit from performance products, it's on sale for 288.00 and it vented. Is this the unit you purchased and if so did you have to modify it? TIA, Reno

That is the one. It required a large amount of fitment an finish work to get it close to fitting like stock.

Wow that must've been scary to have the header panel fly off! Good luck getting it resolved quickly..

The vented nose panel I had before blew off at 140 mph, wasn't installed properly, no screws at the front, just up by the hood, got one from GT Racing and installed it myself, four screws on the front and by the hood, never had that problem again, I check it occasionally JIK...
