Sorry Gents, I won't be making this weekend's get together afterall. Turns out a spot opened in the La Junta DE so I'm taking my car down for some advanced engine break in.

Anyone else heading down there?

Okay, can anyone go on Sat. 3 PM at Beau Joe's in Idaho Springs?
I am game for anything Saturday or Sunday...

I believe the summertime Saturday car show is now happening in Golden as well. That usually starts around 5:30ish... It is pretty fun - quite a bit of hot rods and American cars, but not many imports. We should show 'em some real cars...

Yeah, I'm up for a GTG this weekend, either day at anytime (but would prefer no later than 4pm), Beau Joe's in Idaho Springs sounds good. I'll leave it up to you guys to decide........do you all want to do it Saturday or Sunday and at what time?

I'd also be interested in either/both summer car shows GTG, but will be out of state last week in June thru first week in July.

'87 951.

Factory rebuilt motor with 80k on it, 200k on chasis. Koni adjustables, and high flow cat are the only real modifications so far... I just bought it last week.

The REASON I have to replace the radiatior is that I wasn't paying enough attention and ran over a drainage dip going too quickly and cracked it. Screwed up the oil cooler too. Both parts are on the way.

If anyone wants to come by and help, free beer of course. I have the tools, but I don't really have the expertise. I was just going to take it to a shop.

Possibly, although after yesterdays posts it sounded like everyone had bailed, so I started making other plans. Tomorrow would probably be better than Sunday for me. Let me know what you guys decide.

cyinisis: Welcome to the pain... I mean joy of owning a 951.

Radiator is a piece of cake. The cooler is a bit of a pain just because the washer fluid tank has to come out, and it's not quite as simple as it should be (it goes out the bottom IIRC). I might be able to help tomorrow depending on other tentative plans.
