I was checking out the carfax from a model being sold on the list and it showed a manufacturer recall issued on 09/11-06 for #AK02 Front axle A-arm. If I bring my car to the dealership will they repair this recall for no charge if there is a problem? TIA, Reno

 

they should, but i have never heard of this recall. hmm.

 

Go to the post with the 88 turbo for sale on this site and scroll down to the carfax report and you will see two recalls that were done by the manufacturer, one being the a arms and the second being a hose? All done within the last few years.

Since they were issued in 1989 and 1990 will they still be good? Seems like porsche would give a crap 17 years from issued date?

this is the jumper line on the rail right? ive replaced these on all my 944/924's and they wont replace it under recall- maybe you have to be the original owner?

 

Tomorrow I am going to the dealership and just tell them I was out of town when this recalled happened and hopefully they'll pay for it. Reno
