S2 turbo? I can guarantee you that there were never any S2 turbos made.

Well if it was built as a turbo, (not converted later) then it isn't an S2 and it isn't a US version because no 1990 Turbos were made for the States. They were made for the rest of the world. If it is a '90 Turbo, then it will have the same specs and part numbers as the '88 Turbo S and the '89 Turbo. Is the speedometer in MPH or KPH?

Juan, there were no 1990 or 1991 turbos delivered to the USA.
Canada DID get some 1990 turbos, and very very few 1991 turbos.
The 1990 and 1991 turbos all came with the plastic rear "bridge spoiler" that is standard on all 968s.
Both Canadian and USA cars will have sidemarkers on the front bumper and rear fenders.
All ROW (rest of world) cars will have sidemarkers on just the front fenders.
Almost all Canadian cars had KPH speedometers, while USA cars MPH/kph speedometers.

A friend of mine have a '90 951 which was sold new in USA...
it's the white one. The black one is my '88 951, also US spec car. Picture is a little bit grabby and rather old.

Perhaps the confusion is because after 1989, whilst the 951 still had the 26/8 turbo as in the 'S', some of the other 'S' features became optional. Hence, where those options were not fitted, the correct part may be the same as for the S2.
