Default Use helicoil to head/block studs?

2 of my head/block studs is on its way out of the block
can i use helicoil or re-coil?
is it m12 1,5 or m12 1,75?

I'm not sure of the threads, But I Helicoil can be a large nightmare if not done by someone who has tons of experience. Specially for something as important as head studs.

The very best re-thread kit that I have ever used was a Time Cert Kit. Almost impossible to get wrong. It's just the tools are extremely expensive. I found a kit on E-bay (Used, but tools that work) for around $250.00 for a diferent car, but I'm sure there's something for this one. The certs (Inserts) themselves do not cost very much.
