Paragon Products is looking for used struts for our Koni conversion program. Struts do not need to be in good working order but must be useable as cores (no mangled or missing tabs).

Specifically, looking for:

87-89 944na/944S
86 951
87-88 951
89-91 944S2
92-95 968

If interested, please contact skip@paragon-products.com for details.

Those are from 83-86 944na - they are rebuildable (screw-type cap). Unfortunately, they are not useable in our conversion program.

as far as the conversion program goes, can i send in my (seemingly already coverted) koni fronts for new struts with new inserts and transfer over my old springs/camber plates?

tax return is coming, and i want to get rid of that horrible "blown shock" feeling.

If they are in fact already converted, then you could simply purchase new inserts. Easiest way to tell if the have been converted is to look at the lower end for a bolt. Also, if you are the original purchaser of the Konis, they are covered by a lifetime warranty. If these are factory Koni Sports (yellow) and have not been converted to the new 8641-1414S inserts, then they would have to be fully converted (cut/drill/etc). If these are 951S M030 Koni struts (adjustable ride-height), then they can be rebuilt by Koni only.

Do you have any pictures?

I have a 86 951. I'm out of town so I can't look at the car right now. I assume it has not been converted. Can you give me a list of parts needed to go from original to Koni's with ARHK? Do I need the conversion kit or can I convert to ARHK myself? I can't get in to look at the tech session. Is it down?

azbanks,

Unfortunately, the tech-session.com site is down right now. Should be back up soon.

Parts required for the conversion from OE Boge or OE Koni to Koni coil-over are 2 inserts (8641-1414S) and our Adjustable Ride-Height Kit (ARHK). The conversion process can be done by the owner or we offer is as a service.

Here are some relevant links to the parts/services:

ARHK - http://www.paragon-products.com/prod...944arhk-nr.htm
