Hi all,

We are in the process of restoring a customer's '86 951 that had an underhood fire. The fire melted pretty much everything rubber and plastic under the hood and of course cooked all the wires. So we have a car w/ only 40k original miles that is mint from the firewall back! (I still can't believe that the customer wants to spend all the money to fix it, but I guess he loves the car!) We have an entire extra engine and we have all the pieces that bolt directly to it, but we still need pretty much everything under the hood besides the engine itself (heater box, lines, wiring harness, plastic connectors/brackets etc).

So I am looking for an '86-88 parts car. The ideal candidate would have everything under the hood intact, and everything else could be smashed up, but we do not need the engine itself. I have tried all the usual Porsche salvage yards, nobody seems to have one right now. So if any Rennlisters have a car like this or know of one, please PM me with the details. Thanks a lot!
