Default Why am I getting too much boost?

After assembling my clutch again, I show 21 PSI on the boost gauge when turned all the way down. This is not good....... What do you think it could be? A leak in the line to the top port of the Tial?..........

Hmm I'd be careful here. This sounds a bit like when my Tial jammed shut on the track and even with no boost dialled in it was getting very high psi. It hit 2.1 bar which is over 30 psi. With the helmet on I couldn't hear the engine pinging it's head off so lucky the whole thing didn't explode. Testament to the stock engine components though. We tried turning the ebc right down but it wouldn't respond much so I'd check out the 'gate.

I've heard of a few incidents with the Tial. Any idea what makes them jam shut?

Possible, but unlikely it's the Tial. Check your lines again. Disconnect it from the charge pipe and blow in it. If you can blow in it, and it leaks, there's your problem. If not, check your controller and WG. That's it. Only so many things it can be.

Wow - this is a good idea, Derrick.
Have you had good results blowing on the pipe all the time?

Derek, sir.

I blow the pipe daily, Thanks. Works wonders. You should try it sometime, Tool.

To be honest mine is the only time I've heard it happening so I can't comment on the frequency and once removed and applied compressed air to, it released and is like brand new. I have it in a box looking unused if you want it?
