I like the aluminum idea but i think it should stay with a banjo bolt.

Now correct me if I a wrong, but the banjo bolt feeds manifold pressure data to the KLR - right?

If I put a fitting on there for that hose, there is no reason to have that stupid bolt, right?

I guess what I'm asking is the manifold is attached to the intake via a banjo bolt, correct? Is that what you're talking about deleting?

the bolt will then hold the fitting.

Haha...wow...I'm sorry but I am totally lost! I'll just sit back and listen and look at pictures.

I should explain it better, I want to make the vacuum manifold screw directly into the intake manifold and then provide ports.

Fewer parts count, get rid of the god-forsaken banjo bolt, and make it easier (and therefore cheaper) to manufacture and sell.

Now THATS something I can understand! (sorry I'm not the brightest...) Sounds like a great idea! I'm going to keep the list going here so I don't lose track of who wants what, and as soon as you're ready to distribute them, we'll be ready! How long do you think it will take? A few weeks maybe? I know you have a job.

I like the banjo bolt better. That way all the vac lines can be left on and you only need to take the one bolt out to drop the vm out of the way. I think you should just include a new single banjo bolt so only the vm would be on it.

if this requires drilling more/additional holes into the manifold, i would not be interested.

It shouldn't, Lausts origional design was just a bolt on upgrade, and I doubt Sharky will change it. Just get the version for your manifold. One or two banjos.

No no, still a bolt on - just easier for everyone - especially me.

Laust's design is great from a funtional point, but difficult to manufacture.
