That's funny.
BMW does have some stylists from the Hellen Keller school of design.

My father is seriously considering the M roadster, and with 330+ hp, ITB's etc, I don't blame him.
I drove both a 2004 z4 and 2002 Boxster, I am going to test the s2000 although "the fast and the Furious" movie left a deep negative impression in my mind. That's why I have stay away from the hunda thing.

Funny, I have two magazines and both have complaints of BMW owners of how ugly the Z4 really looks. I test drove both , the first one was the boxster and at first I though the car had a engine problem the low torque( almost non existing) was hard to adapt, the Z4 was a little more comfortable to get in but it was a pain in the a$$ to get out.

He asked the salesman if the car dropped a cylinder, or something.

Looks like they're still selling this car. What do they do--buy good low-mileage coupes and re-do them? Anyone? And how much $ is involved? I'd love to see their specs!

Lart an S2000 is a very fun car to drive, but it is sloooooow. Why not build a turbo 944 cab?

slooooooooow compared to what? Its all relative.......anything is slow compared to a Veyron..........but in this case we are comparing to a Boxster and therefore the S2000 is not slooooooooow in comparison.

According to this site 0 to 60 and 1/4 times (there are other sources) the 06 S2000 has a 5.5 0 - 60 and a 14.0 1/4. The 03 Boxster S does a 5.1 and 13.8 which is not really a noticeable difference in every day driving and I think Lart is actually considering a non-S version Boxster so the S2000 should actually be quicker.

I was comparing it to a 968 in my head actually........ Which is also slooooow. I have not driven a Z4, and I dont think I have to mention the boxster is sloooooooow. Which part of my post offended you? Is it because you dont like it when I say slooooooooow? I mentioned a 951 cab because I thought it would be a good choice for him. P.S. Sloooooooooow.

You forget that peak power numbers and 0-60 times don't always tell the full story. To get those times in the torqueless wonder known as the S2000 you have to drive it like you stole it - banging off the rev limiter on all shifts. So driving around town at regular paces and then stepping on it might make the S2000 feel slower than what the specs say it should be. I was dissapointed in the car to say the least. Didn't feel at all like it had 240 hp.
