...Anyone who can tell me how the hell I'm supposed to get from the airport to the speedway? -Is the cab fare likely to be expensive???

So who is driving out at what time??? Last time I was at Daytona Speedway (Rolex) I blew a headgasket. But that is fixed this time with my fat *** new injectors
I guess if you see a silver 951 on I4 screaming past you that would be me.

I can't make the rest stop unless its after 1PM or so... I'll be heading up there late.

The favourite rest stop is the one right after exit 94 (State Road 434), heading Eastbound. I believe the rest area is just after mile marker 95, though I can check this in my drive home this evening.
Basically, the EASTBOUND rest stop between mile marker 95 and mile marker 96. (the Westbound rest stop is at mile marker 94)
Time... someone else should decide, since I can't make it until after noon.

I think I'm going to leave Tampa at around 5:30. This gives me 3:30 to get to the track by 9:00. My biggest gamble is the Orlando traffic pattern. I'll hit that around 7:00. Do the Orlando locals have any advice to give regarding this plan?

You, thanks and trying to find out when most of the others are going also. Not sure if i want to go sun only or sat also, my turbo is sold and will be picked up on friday so i will be driving the audi.
