It'll add about 10 minutes at 7:00AM... nothing major.

(I assume you're heading south-to-north on I4 Eastbound, approaching O-town at 7AM... 8:30AM is a different story: add 45-mins to an hour if you get there late, though Fridays are often a little more forgiving.

Chris,
If you're still awake and signed on, here's my advice,

Take the 417 from the Disney area, around all the I-4 traffic. It'll dump you back onto I-4 at Sanford. I used to drive all hours from N. Tampa to the Orlando airport 5-6 times a month. the toll road is pricey, but during the morning crunch, it'll pay off. I'll be there w/ my son Zackary on Sat am. We'll look for you.

Doug:

Thanks for the info.

My Black 951 will be a part of the History of Porsche Cars display. I won't be tied to that spot, but it's a good place to start. Otherwise, call me on my cell @ .

Man I wish I would have seen this post. My parents have a condo here in Melbourne if anyone coming from the south needed to crash. Oh well, too late.

Hope to see everyone at the show.

Oh, by the way, this weekend is also the Cape Canaveral Air show. For the non locals, it is a quick drive from Daytona to go check out the show in Port Canaveral.

I'm checked in to room 406 at the Residence Inn, across the track on Midway. Meeting some people for dinner tonight on the beach at The Oyster Bar.

My car is still at the track and will remain there until Sunday. It's parked in the History of Porsche Cars Display area. I'll be there in the AM cleaning it after the rain and dust from today dirtied it up some.

Come on by and say hello. You guys can also call on my cell.

SeaCay your car is stunning! Very nice!

WHERE IS THE 968 Turbo RS, 951 Cup, or 924 Carrera GT, or ANY factory race car representing the 924/944/951 series on display??
There is NOTHING!!?

I did enjoy seeing the Electrodyne and IMA motorsport 951's.... mmmmm.

I don't know if you saw it but there's a really nice unmolested '86 turbo cup car in the Busch garages. It's parked sideways in the middle of the garage so you might miss it.

Good time at Hooters tonight, even though we had the worst waitress on earth.

Some people (not me) got kicked off the go-cart track.
