Yeah, on early ET cars it's all about adding spacers.

I put on the supplied 8mm spacers on the rear and the drivers side fit very well on either side, but the ps was rubbing the wheel well. Now i have some camber in the rear so this is understandable. I just ordered a set of slip on 15mm rear spacers hubcentric w/ longer studs so that should put them in just the right spot. Enjoy!
The car looks very nice, good for you! So you got 235s in the front, nice. Did I miss something though? I see you put on the rears too, but didn't see you list the "exact tire" specs for the back? What are the dimensions?

oh- sorry. Fronts are 235/18 and Rears are 295/30/18 -cant remember exact sizes- 52mm offset front and 45 rear.

- im sure you could fill out the wheelwell fine w/ 10s - i prob would have got 10's if i found a deal on them, just need to put them on and see if you need small spacers or what...

- i put the wheels on w/ just small 8mm spacers and they rubbed slightly w/ some room so hopefully 15's will do it...

Are those replicas ? To the best of my knowledge the offsets should be 50 fr/45 re with OEM rims.

Very nice Dan!

I was considering the 996 Twists but I'm not too crazy about the spacer to clear the dust caps on late cars.

don't get cought up in the spacer thing. a proper hubcentric/wheelcentric with long bolts is good. wheelbearings are also cheap and easy.

may be 45 instead of 47...just kinda off the top of my head- they are REAL hollow spoke oe rims.

Thanks Danny, now i need to change my pants.

Anyway, car is looking awesome!

How hard would it be to put that size of a rim (18x11) on a 87 with late offset?

well from what i hear since these are 45mm offset they wont fit- if you could find some of the 65mm offset wheels they should be ok...
