and nothing happens.

pjburgess - Not thanks. It was dragged along the ground, hauled up onto a flatbed and fork lifted into a pile of dirt. I don't think the underside is unscathed. Plus, driven for near 1,000 miles by these jokers who no doubt were not in to saving the clutch or minding redline, etc. No, I already signed it over to my insurance.
Unless the buy back is super low they can have it. Plus, on top of the buy back, I'd have to pay the impound lot over $400 if I took it.

Bloody joyriders eh........ People blame games like GTA for this kind of behaviour. But some people are just low life deadbeats.
Sorry this has happened to your pride and joy, it must leave you sick

Wow, that is awful, and strange. Driving the car for 1K miles, a unique car like that?
It can be difficult to put a sticker on a car without getting a fingerprint on the sticky part. Maybe the police could at least try to see if there is a big fat fingerprint on one of the new stickers? Maybe it could be seen through the glass even. Just an idea.

That sucks. Hopefully you can get a good amount from the insurance. If nothing else maybe you can get those gold fuchs the one member is selling on ebay now for your new car.

Something for everyone to think about.
Go to google and type in GPS tracking systems and you have all kinds of systems to chose from to maybe avert this kind of thing in the future. They have some that are magnetic that you can put on an take off easily say while at work or out on the town. Anyway they have all kinds of price ranges and options. I will have one on my car and trailer soon. Should drop the insurance rates also.
