Yes old school all right. Nice! Really deep dish too. Do you have an '86? The tyres look quite high profile but maybe it's the angle and I did read they were 45 profile which if you think of when these wheels were first available there was no such thing as a 45 aspect ratio. Post a photo or two when you get them on the car.

Patrick, they're only 16" wheels man! Anything is going to look huge next to your 18s.

Lindsey Racing is using fuchs centers and makes 17 or 18 inch wheels from them. A lot of the older car owners are doing this for better tire selection.

Hey they look nice and I reckon those 17's or 18's would look really good on certain cars. I think there's a company in England that takes 3.0 SC's and creates a sort of retro replica RS look but a bit FATTER. They look great in my books and those Lindsey converted Fuchs would suit them down to the ground. (pun intended)

Those are gorgeous. Well worth the $$$ of having a pro do the job.
Especially when it comes to polishing!

Yes Thommo I'll check my magazines. I may have got my wires crossed so I'll come back and confirm just who does what and where.

EDIT: Here you go Thommo. http://www.psautoart.com/
Don't know about anyone else but I like them!

not really - more like 2.5

oka, okay 17lbs 4 ounces - for 9" wide forged wheel. Gotta love forged wheels - light and strong
will weigh the 8" once back from polish

I hate to bring this up, but I know someone who bought 3 pairs of used 9" Fuchs before he had 2 wheels that weren't cracked. It seems these wheels are often run quite hard, harder than your average 6" or 7" Fuchs. I assume when you had them refinished they probably checked them for cracks?

They looks fantastic, though. For me, that's the ultimate look for an early-offset 944!
