This is why it is very common to hear '89 Turbos referred to as Turbo "S" cars - because they have all the same performance upgrades as an '88 Turbo S, versus a standard '87-88 Turbo.
As for value, if it is as described - yes, its worth $20k. If its in winning concours condition, and the maintenance is absolutely current, then probably more.

Dave - sounds right to me.
Anyone wishing for a fixer for a little less money should wait a couple months until the crank breaks on Rolex's at 8000+ - that's where you'll get a good deal.
