I'm pretty sure they do. I'd pay top dollar for her as she is perfect.

All the 89 Turbos are built to the M758 option ('88 Turbo S) specs, which includes the M030 Suspension option. But since the M758 package became standard equipment for MY89, it was no longer considered an option, and not listed on the option codes.

This is why it is very common to hear '89 Turbos referred to as Turbo "S" cars - because they have all the same performance upgrades as an '88 Turbo S, versus a standard '87-88 Turbo.

As for value, if it is as described - yes, its worth $20k. If its in winning concours condition, and the maintenance is absolutely current, then probably more.

Dave - sounds right to me.

Anyone wishing for a fixer for a little less money should wait a couple months until the crank breaks on Rolex's at 8000+ - that's where you'll get a good deal.

You don't know what a deal is smartass. Your car is butt-*** ugly, but fast! And wait until my car breaks? That's nice pal.

Actually - I redid the whole thing, it IS kind of nice now!!
Not as nice as that bean-counter Tom's, but nice all the same.

Sorry Dave - I seriously think some Rennlister or Pano-peruser might give you a few bucks MORE, now that I see the mileage.

More than likely because in all the years the cars were made, red was probably the most produced color compared to the others. I don't have a chart to validate this statement, but I would venture to say I'm pretty right. Hence statistically speaking, there is a greater probability that more red cars were kept in better shape. It's just a matter of production and statistics.

Good for you! Why don't you start a new post, introduce yourself and post some pics of your nice car?

Hi Mike and welcome to Rennlist with that sweet sounding car of yours! Thanks for the compliments and info too. When you get some pics, start a new thread about your car, for this thread is going a bit off topic, ok? And you can always PM me about the rims, when I am ready to get rid of them too.

And I'm not sure where in CT you are, but one of our fastest 944T owners lives in CT too. I'm sure you heard his name, it's Special Tool? You should PM him and meet up some time. He has a kick-*** race shop, you have to see it with your own eyes!
