Time to buy a wideband O2
It looks like the new Innovative gauge is available. (I want a gauge to go into my A pillar pod).
I have heard a lot of great feedback about the LM1, any downsides/limitations to the LC1? It will offer the same accuracy and PC datalogging capabilities right?
Any comments or other suggestions for a wideband solution?
This is the kit I was looking to purchase.

AEM has a very nice wideband unit with a gauge that will fit in the LoTek gaugepod: http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=67. Street prices are considerably lower than the MSRP shown here.

I don't really need datalogging but figured it would be easier to determine accurate A/F .

Tech Edge. www.wbo2.com has a pc logger for $20 and can measure rpm, (3) 0-5volt inputs and (3) K-type thermocouples. I have my thermocouple on the EGT probe. the gauge is also very good IMHO.

AEM has support forum..... I would be surprised if you cannot log from it.

AEM widebands are nice because of the versatility in integrating with other components. There are lots of piggybacks and standalones (MAP ecu, E-Manage, AEM ems, etc) that support them so, it helps if you plan on doing any more in depth stuff in the future. The few times I've used them they work just fine and seem to be pretty accurate.

The second is an analog 0-5 volt signal that can be converted to A/F in an external datalogging program. I use the analog signal as an input to my Vitesse datalogger so I can log A/F along with the other parameters that I get from the Vitesse software.
I anticipate a Lindsey or Vitesse piggyback with MAF when I upgrade the turbo.
So can I get the AEM and connect directly to my laptop (using a serial/USB cable) and buy some datalogging software? Then I will have additional capabilities with the addition of the piggyback down the road.
I guess I will contact AEM and see what the suggest.
Thanks for the help!

Another vote for the TE-WBO2. I built the 2A0 and added the 1 meg card (2A1). I also wired up the trigger button and status LED's to the LD02 display so I don't have to fiddle with it in the glovebox. One of my favorite gagets.

It can also simulate the stock Narrow Band (NB) to a much more accurate degree than the stock O2 sensor as well as fooling it by programming the offset on the NB to a richer or leaner condition. The LA1 and LD1 displays have digital RPM displays which I find useful for checking the gauge.
I also have one for the Chevelle but I think I will upgrade to the dual sensor model some time in the future.

I'd strongly recommend VEMS wideband+EGT kit as it has datalogging, rpm, boost, programmable outputs (NBo2 etc) and all that in one 52mm case with user defined colours (both case and display numbers separately WB and EGT). Accuracy is tested many times for example with Motec kit and it performed just the same (both accuracy and speed)
