When I put my T3/T04E in I had a the same problem. I had to play with the clocking a little bit and eventually just took a die grinder and ground down a little bit right around where it hit and it fit right in.

Thanks you guys for the tips, I ended up grinding down one of the housing bolts and having my wife pry on the turbo while I tried to line up the mounting holes. It finally fit. I have pics that I will post later. Some with the wife under the car. I'm such a lucky guy!

my wife came in the garage one day, I was on the creeper. I had a bit of grease on me, a bit of sweat, looked at her real sweet and said, "want to roll around a bit?" She took the groceries and went inside.

What can I say? It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Neighbors did look at us kind of funny. As soon as I get back home, I'm posting pics so you guys can be jealous.

You guys have awsome wifes. My gf flipps out and says why dont you get a life a and get a car that doesnt break like a NEWER CAR. i tell her go up stairs and make a sandwich i am starving. 10 min later she comes down with ice tea and good sandwich.
