does anyone know of a good place in Orlando to get the wheels aligned on my 86 turbo? my current tires are worn in all sorts of unusual places and i dont want my new(expensive) tires wearing like that.

Thanks

Ben

Call Zot's Garage, if they don't do it, They'll know who will. Otherwise, call Discount Tire on John Young Parkway and Sand Lake Rd. They refered me to an alignment shop that did my girls Toyota Camry a year ago and it was dead on perfect. Still aligned a year and a half later. They do the entire police force in Orlando. Forgot the name, sorry.

The Porsche Mercedes dealer has an alignment guy named Jim as I recall...used to align mine with me sitting in it reading a book. That guy rocks and knows our cars quite well. I can't seem to bring the name of the dealership to mind, but it's off it's pretty close to I-4 and 436 if memory serves. Every time I trailer out there to run with the boys I stop in for an alignment check.

I think I met Jim at an autocross last year and he was quite a character and certainly seemed to know what he was talking about, we even talked about alignments I would bring my boxster there. I think the going rate at the dealership there is around $225.

I already have a trusted alignment guy. His name is Dan Doern over at Irish Mikes (SR50 & Forsyth Rd).

I was talking to Ron (Zotz) at the Rolex. He was driving an RX-8.

How did Ron pop a RX-8 motor? I thought that was pretty hard to do.
Another alignment shop is off Corrine Drive and he too knows 944's, and is inexpensive.
Don Krill is his name and the shop number is 407 889 4482. The shop is across the street from the Little League field, next door to the 7-11.

Well, it seemed to have constant problems in several areas of the car.

YES!!!!

Do not take the tip of going to the dealership like I did. STEVE/JASON Stratton!!!

I don't care how good an aligment guy is, $220 is not worth it for an alignment.
