Default Timing belt breaking on a turbo vs NA

My understanding is that on a 944 NA, a snapped tbelt can result in serious engine damage.

I was curious to know if the same applies on the turbo? What would be the result of a snapped tbelt on a 944 turbo?

Thanks

Same thing... unless you have pistons that were modified or you have the "porsche motorsport pistons"

Yes. A t-belt failure can be catastrophic to heads/valves on the NA and 951.

Yeah, it is a bit of a nuisance to change belts.
