I just found this and "believe" it is Han's car, who is a member on Rennlist. I haven't seen him here much lately though. I am almost sure it's him, but, I could be wrong. Hans if this is you, come by and say hello! It's a really nice video and sharp looking track car too. I just thought I'd share the passion for tracking!

That dash is coolness! The car sounds pretty nice as well. From time to time I forget how these cars look next to "normal" cars...these are really something special...and his is very badass

Nice find Rolex! I hadn't seen that car before. I really like his version of the pop up delete. Looks better to me than the 944 GTR version. Is that custom job or something that can be purchased?

Mmmmm nice video, nice car, nice track ![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)
I would really love to do Spa, I think it's got to be the most challenging and exciting track out there (except the Nordschleife, but that doesnt really count)

The video that is discussed in this post is actually not Hans' car, but rather the sister car to Hans', namely ours. You can find much more detail at the following site:
www.rtb-motorsport.nl
The tab "Porsche 944" lists the details of our 44, and the tab headed "Verslagen" (Dutch for reports) has the story of how the car was put together, how we got it to run properly, and how we got it set up (lost the understeer). Although you may have gathered that the site is in Dutch, you will see in the reports that there are plenty of pictures.
Though subtle, there are differences between Hans' car and ours: when you look at the splitter and the rearview mirrors, you will see that our car has red accents, whereas Hans' car has blue accents. Also, our car has the front with some room for headlights (you could put in Nissan 300ZX ones for the street), whereas Hans' car has a closed front.
Mechanically, the cars are very similar: full race remote-reservoir coil-overs, lots of weight-saving (including the carbon dash - which when you see it up close looks much better than in the video), around 350 bhp. Our car is a little wider (runs 10"/18 all round, with Michelin 27 up front and Pirell 285 at the rear) than Hans, but that will soon change.
The video was shot at the Spa/Francorchamps track (our favorite) during the Porsche Spa/Francorchamps days of 2005. We run in the "Racing" class, have great fun there, and prove that it does not take a GT3 to be quick around Spa (especially the double-lefthander called Pouhon, no P-car keeps up with our car's exit speed....).
Don't hesitate to ask further details of the car, and if you are planning on visiting the Porsche days, don't hesitate to swing by, and take a passenger ride with us - we like the 44, and together with Hans' efforts, we appear to have created some new enthousiasm for 944 racing in the Netherlands: there are plenty of S2's, 951's, 968's prepped for racing - and that's not even counting the 944 "basic" cup that is running very succesfully here.
Kind regards
Ron Verheijen

Hi special tool,
well, we tried a couple of settings on the dyno, and found that:
- max power at WOT was delivered with an AFR of 12.2 (any 0.2 more or less, we lost around 15 hp)
- any richer between 3700 and 5200, torque went down by some 10's of Nm - in fact, I think that we put the car on the dyno since the video, and have it at AFR 13, and that gained a bit of torque
- at Spa, we ran with a max boost pressure of 15-16 psi, and EGT values of around 1620 Fahrenheit.
- we did another run at Spa with around 30% Xylene added, and we could easily run 18 psi with similar EGT
Was this the data you were looking for?
