Just get a can of red auto trim paint to color match your car. It is kind of a satin finish. Paint it with that stuff. Then, when you get scratches and knicks you can just use a peice of cardboard to keep from spraying the bumper cover and repaint the splitter. Works great on my black/black. Don't know why it wouldn't work on red/red. I'm sure they have red trim paint.

It's not like you need a good enough finish on the splitter to wax or anything.

Not AIR, but a black GT Racing one for comparison.

I did it in satin black to match the black plastic side skirts so it has that psuedo-factory look.

D, now this is where you throw me for a loop. Because of the color scheme you have going on with your beautiful car, hands down I would say that black looks awesome on your car!! Good call. I love it!

Thanks everyone for the input.
I think I'm back to a satin black splitter.I think touch ups will be easier with it
in black.

I went with satin black on mine. Sorry no pic of the splitter installed.

Since I replaced the side skirts they're all nice and black, unlike the graying originals I removed. With all fresh black around the bottom edge, it looks great to me.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did that cost to replace? mine is all warped from someone using a jack that didnt clear.

Way too much, honestly. I can't look up the exact figure because I'm on the road presently, but it was about $500 I think. Give or take a little. I'm just **** enough to replace **** like that. New windshield washers, speaker grills for the doors, etc. If it's been broken, chipped or faded, I've replaced it.

I love your way of thinking Brian, very kool! I am just as **** with everything. As you know, those side skirts fade easily over time, wear, etc. And like you, I will replace "everything" that's old, faded, cracked, etc. I know you are on the road too, but go to Papasitto for me, ok? I used to live in Houston near the Galleria and loved eating at that place. And then go to 24 Hr Fitness too!

Sorry, back to the program.....
