Default Sweet 944 Race Car on E-Bay

Here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1986-...QQcmdZViewItem

Price is a bit higher for an incomplete car in my opinion - especially compared to some of the other 951 race cars that have come across E-Bay.

When buying an incomplete road car it is just a bunch of parts. When buying an incomplete track car it is a bunch of untested parts..

WOW the motor alone is work 18k? Yeah right, freakin' dumbass, what's so freakin' special about this 2.8? Ummm an over priced builder? Wrong answer unless its filled with custom titanium rods etc. This kiddos is how NOT to do a car...ugh this one hits a heart string and really pisses me off.

Only running a 305 in the rear? Why? You can easily fit 335s back there, along with 285s in the front, hell if you wanted you could go with a 305 up there with those flares. And if you got a pumpin' 2.8 you'll need the traction.

No lexan anywhere...WTF? Whoever is building this car is a total tool bag in my opinion. Does it look good? Nope...where are the rocker panels? No wing to offset the radical body changes? I take prettier $hits...

He's trying to gain profit from collecting a pile of parts and installing half of them. (No calipers?) "Custom" body kit my ***, he either got it from broadfoot or modded the parts from GT Racing. I feel sorry for the guy who thinks this is a bargin/good deal. The seller is trying to recoup the body work costs (half assed at that).

If the guy offers to finish it himself prior to sale with the additional cost, one wonders why he doesn't just finish it all the way then sell it.

Albert is now retired, but was one of the very best engine builders in Fl. His customer service sucked, but not his engines. He's one A LOT of races with his engines. Albert knows his ****. He's just not in the business anymore. He lives here in town.

I agree about Albert's engines, as far as customer service goes, he made my last nose for me. Outstanding guy as well as his wife (who I delt with mostly).

Albert wouldn't be selling something like this...no...I refuse to believe it. He wouldn't offer to sell it in this stage (no calipers on the front struts), instead he'd finish it, or at least finish the parts he started on it.

He also wouldn't make outragous claims about engine value...last 3.1 liter he quoted me before closing his doors was 17k. This ad reaks of something wrong.....plus he's never been a fan of pretty cars - those flares would be riveted on, not bonded for a track car.

Wow...read the post - he def. skimped on the wheel setup etc. This has to be the worst track car Broadfoot ever built but it appears to have been requested as such. In my opinion its an abomination...nothing like the red 3.1 RS he built awhile back.

Default 951 RS 3.1

Sold to Richard Press after its first race for 35k. Roughly 550 rwhp and just a bit lower on rwtq. Beast of a car.

He's dreaming if he thinks he'll get that sort of cash. What's been done looks well done, just too much left to do. Didn't even take out the HVAC blower equipment yet. Doesn't look like there is a cage yet, and no pic of the interior makes one suspicious of what still needs to be done in there as well. Plus the 2.8L essentially eliminates the possibility of racing it in PCA.

You don't think that's pretty Guns? I think it looks pretty hot actually. Even you must like that rear view of the tyres? Must be 35's yes?
