Great car, great thread Jake...those fender flares are the reason I got into the Porsche family. They're just so damn SEXY! Again, congrats!

Thanks everybody.
I was really comfortable buying this car from Eyal, he seemed honest and passionate abou tthe car.
It shows.
As for the rebuild, non of the parts are labeled so first part is identifying where everything goes and then figuring out which order things have to go back in. With the Innovative T04e turbo, i am going to need a riser bracket & some custon banjo lines to fit on this turbo. Not a big problem, but something that needs to be done correctly. Here is a list of things i plan to do in order of importance:

1. Get it running & wire in the Piggyback.
2. Get to the dyno and have it tuned by the local import shop.
3. The corbeau race seats are to far forward for me (i'm 6'4") so i need the brackets to be
customized to slide back more (2-3") and maybe angled back a touch too.
4. 18" Rims / upgrade caster blocks & bushings
5. Adjustable suspension upgrade.
6. New paint.
7. AIR splitter.
8. new hatch carpet & new "turbo" floor mats
9. Aluminum Pedals.

I also have to put a catalytic converter back on it to pass inspection in New Hampshire.
Luckily my local exhaust shop said they would be happy to put on a "fake" cat. opposed to a removable one. Has anyone here ever drilled / cored out an cat before?

Congrats on a nice buy there Jake. It even has the rear license plate frame from our local Porsche dealer here in Sacto. Keep us up to date on your progress. I love that shot from the front. Do you have a high-res version you can send me?

It's an SMT.

I am really not a fan of this thread. I miss my paper weight!

He might consider asking Jim to help him then (special tool), he knows a thing or two about SMT's and is only a couple hours away.

Mike, if Jake doesn't live to far, I would say that is an excellent idea. I will say this, ST is Da Bomb when it comes to the SMT6 & ZT-2 also. I should know, I spent hours and hours with him on my old car. Good call pal, I just hope Jake doesn't live that far?

Default GETTIN THERE

I live in Southern New Hampshire.
I'd love any help i can get. I'll contact ST.

I did a rough fit on the turbo & intake yesterday.
This turbo job doesn't seem so hard, yet.
I also dropped in some 5 point Corbeau Harnesses.
New Hampshire Does not have any seat belt laws for adults so you can
drive around with 5-points on, but you still need the DOT 3point to pass inspection.

Get in contact with him like I said, and try and get together before snow hits the ground too. And wait until you see his bad-*** race shop, your mouth will hit the ground!
