Default Race Gas Recommendations

Can anyone point me to places where I can order 5 or 10 gallon containers of unleaded race gas north of 100 octane? I used to have access to VP 104, but they don't seem to make it anymore...and I moved away from the station that had it.

Has anyone tried Sunoco GT Plus ?

Anyone ever try VP Motorsport 109? Does one need to run richer with these extra oxygenated fuels?

I bought 2-5 gallon containers of the sunoco 104 when i was driving my car back from san jose. it was hitting 19psi and i had no idea what teh a/f was so i ran that for the long trip up to seattle to make sure nothing happened.

anyways, my impression was that it was great stuff. I havent tried other fuels though so i cant compare. I remember paying "only" $34 including tax (or somewhere close to that) for a 5-gallon so depending on where you are located in california, i would buy direct and not for $70 online. If you are in the bay area then you can get that fuel from a shop in livermore off 2nd Ave (i believe) or at a shop in san ramon off coldcreek parkway just north of the in-and-out.

In washington i use Trick 101 for track/fun nights on the highway. Its about $5.75 up here but they are based out of so-cal here is their info, you can call and find distribution locations as well as have drums/containers delivered.

Tom,

Try Speed Merchant in SJ. http://www.speedmerchant.com/. It's been awhile since I was there but I know they carry race gas in 5 gl containers.

Tom: This company is on the eastcoast, but they ship anywhere. They are big where I am too. I've used them ranging from shifter karts to various race cars too. Good luck pal.

JE 951,
I live in Livermore and would like to know more about the shop in Livermore, name, location, what is around it if you can't remember, phone # etc.
Tom,
You can buy 100 octane from the 76 station on woodside Rd. in Redwood City. You can buy it from the pump for under $5./gallon

Tom if your still in California you can go to the unocal website and lookup which stations carry streetblaze 103. There's one around the corner from me that does here in pasadena.

Oh, Also, Rebel Gas Stations sell it right out of the pump here in Vegas. Check around for locations near you.

lucky SOB@#$

I have to buy all mine from local dealers. Which aint bad. I mean they are everywhere here in dallas.

just sucks I can't pull right up to the pump and get 104 anymore.

So I settle for 114 or c16 hehe

Yep, I normally get 100 octane at that station or the 76 on foxworthy in San Jose. I was actually looking to find something a wee bit higher for my next dyno run. I believe the VP Streetblaze 103 can't be sold out of pumps in CA due to the MTBE, so thought maybe someone would have it (or something as good or better) in containers.
