Did he ever finish the 968 Turbo Conversion ? Looks like he has not updated his site since 2004 ? Did look like some clever work though? Not sure on the 944 crank in the 968 motor (destroking to 7.0 compression) Ellaberate Please ! Thanks Davepnola

They tried to sell that red one or whatever color it is on ebay as a real Turbo S....sold it for like 40k i think?

That 944 with 968 is from Norway. Thread Luis is pointing is Markus' car from Estonia. So these threads are not related.

I can't find a mention about remap. On the "after" picture the Variocam seems connected.

What about the 944 turbo placement under the car ? Anyone ever seen that design? Look at where the compressor side outlet points to , in between the lower control arm? Seems like a lot of plumbing ? My guess is that with the truck intercooler, probably enters on lower right side and exits onthe left . Crazy design though, wonder if its effecient ?

you will need an oi scavange pump to get the oil from the turbo back to the sump. its not the best design to have the turbo lower then the oil level in the sump.
