Default Cat-back exhaust flange

I searched the site here but could find any info.

I received a cat-back exhaust today and noticed that the 4 bolt flange that would join the pipe to the cat was welded on at a slight angle.

Should it be this way or should the pipes mate together perfectly straight?
It appears that the pipe was bevel cut, but the angle of the flange does not seem like it matches the cut angle of the piping.

Below is the only close-up photo I could find of the flange I am referring to. In this pic, I can not tell if the pipes are straight.

Can anyone tell me if my pipe is correct or should the flange be welded on at a 90 degree angle???

I will not be able to install this for several weeks so I want to make sure that it's okay.

It's probably deliberate, and done to provide clearance at the rear suspension cross member.

Should be ok... You will need to run the car for awhile to let everything heat up and settle in.. Then maybe go back and re-tighten the bolts if need be.
