Yes, the top does have a cloth cover but I didn't have it on for the pictures. I have the top set to manual mode and it could probably use some adjustment. It is supposed to come down lower.

Thanks. BTW, is the color looking more auqua or blue. Not sure if its my camera or monitor screen. The pictures seem more green on my monitor.
I think it might be time for a new camera.

I am still trying to figure out the color people are actually seeing. It shoudl be Riviera Blue and not Acqua color as I see it.
Maybe a little tweaking with colors will help.

Raj, beautiful car. But I agree with David, that white piece of artwork is still my favorite as well.

Wow, what a neat color combo! Looks more aqua than green, to me over here in Europe. Interior looks to be Classic Gray, right?

Re the wheels, how do they ride? 18" is a bit big for these early cabs, IMHO. The M030 package Cup1 17"ers were mainly used on coupés and those already feel a bit harsh over uneven pavement in a cab.

So, is this a turbo convo prospect, or you just like posting about it in 951 company?

Those big wheels would certainly be a good excuse for upgrading to bigger brakes

Thanks guys. So far the plan is to keep the cabriolet NA. The chassis is compromised so I am not sure how much more power it can handle. I have plan to ghet to atleast 270 engine hp with NA mods. The 18's do make for a stiff ride and add quite a bit of unsprung weight. I am still keeping an eye out for 17's that are light weight or go with porsche leightweight 18's. Still too early to decide.
As far as bigger brakes, if I do go with 6 piston calipers on the turbo, I will move the big reds to the cabriolet then.
I do miss my turbo as well. It should be complete soon and better than before. Head is at Jon Milledge, changing compressor on the GT3076R and as you know the list goes on and on..
I gues you guys are not seeing the right color, time to get a new digital camera.
Regards.

Raj,

I agree that the color isn't coming out right. It might be one of those colors that unless you have the bazillion pixel camera, and gazillion pixel monitor you can't see right. I have never seen your car, but I saw a Riviera Blue 996 at our dealership it it appeared more blue than your pictures. Here are a few I came across with a quick search and you can say if anyone match the car better.

Wes

P.S. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Thanks Oli.
Yes, we are in the middle of a very warm winter. So far, so signs of snow and there have been yrs when we had snow for Christmas. I guess its global warming at work. We have had much higher than normal temps this yr. I am sure we will eventually get some snow storms. I am surprised about you guys not having snow though. I would expect it to snow atleast 6 mnths in a yr.
BTW, I am very impressed with your country's drivers, possibly the best crop of F1 drivers along with Germany. Will be interesting to see how Heiki does.
Regards.
