Just out of curiousity, where are you having it painted? I'm here in Long Beach and wondering if there are any places that are decent that can do a 944 without either charging obscene prices or screwing it up (i.e. grinding off all the galvanizing while "prepping", over-bondoing it, getting the panel gaps incorrect, etc.)
I've got a 951 that will eventually need the front half resprayed (stone chips and a few other minor blemishes in the hood & front fenders) and my Callaway that'll need a full-body spray job. I was going to do all of the prep work myself and then try to find someone with a booth to do it, but if you've found a good place that isn't a "mill" (you know, "get-'em-in-get-'em-out" place) or a shi-shi shop that'll charge $10,000 for a decent job, I'd consider that valuable information. TIA.

I still need:
1) rear lower 951 valence
2) air front lip (street)
3) rear hatch with no glass seperation in the LA area
4) rear gt bumper
car is getting painted in long beach at www.mastermatchauto.com 90815 so parts around that area (used in good condition and cheap) are preferred.
