Whoops! Here I thought there was only one Jon M in the 944/968 world. *lol* I'm still interested in seeing the results though. Post pics and videos when you can. When summer hits over here I'll be sure to take more pictures and some videos of mine too.

Not that deep mate, this has practically broken me!! I am not a big earner just got hooked on boost at a very young age and I never grew out of it.

As for the intercooler it should be fine up to 18psi especially with Motec controlling things. I can run EGT as a trim so if things start getting hot it will back off automatically. With a 3.0 you dont need so much psi to make good power so the factory IC should do for now. After I intend to go higher but I will make a custom Pace intercooler when I need to control the intake temps more. Just need to get it all running right first and the factory IC should do fine for that.

Oh Christ. You'll be in some Drifto type of car, doing burnouts!

Nick: You have a build out sheet or a web site for the car mate? I don't think I've actually seen what your car looks like? Is the engine on a stand for the break in?

What kind of clutch and flywheel are you running?
Did you do anything to the transmission and or axels?

Clutch is 968 disc and 993 Pressure plate. Engine is in the car running 9psi for break in, so far seems ok not burning hardly any oil. Have some dark pics of engine bay end messy wiring in passenger footwell. Other than that the car looks standard. If anyone can host the pics I can email them. They could do with a little brightening up on Photoshop but I can assure you it is nothing impressive to look at!! We really are at development stage 1 and here in the UK this is the first time this setup has been done in a 968 so was quite an effort.

Wow, good for you Nick. Can you do a "full" list of the mods that you did to it too? And maybe someone will chime in, fix the pics, and can post them here for you too? Does your engine builder have a web site too? Is this his first 968T he is doing?

Mike: This is your calling or Test to help out Nick -->

I still think the intercooler is a problem, it might keep the intake temp low enough but the end tanks do not flow very well and at least should be addressed

I will have to disagree. For break in he needs a larger IC, when he is on a budget as he said? Remember, Special Tool has a stock IC, and has reached over 533 RWHP on that and more. And that is "multiple" dyno runs too and street driving too. A lot of people under estimate the stock IC for making some good RWHP. I would agree though that if Nicks wants to get the most out of the 3.0L, he should go to a bigger one, but at this point? I think it isn't necessary. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Nick....?
