Default Withdrawal. Twitching. Can't sleep. Need help.

Oh mah gad. Yes. I am having severe withdrawals.
I am going through boost detox.
I have test driven all kinds of cars trying to get my 'fix' - to see what I can trade my GTI in on, something fun.

Nothing works like a 951

I even drove a brand new Mitsubishi Evolution IX last weekend, which took some work, because the "dealership does not allow test drives" muhahah... Scared the poop out of the salesman too. But it didn't impress me enough, it didn't have that ...feel I am looking for.

And I only haven't had one for 3 months.

Another boost junkie going though withdrawl. I don't normally drive my cars for the winter months so I know exactly what you are going through. Only 4 months to go before the roads are clear and the snow is gone for good.

I happen to like the 2.0l 4g63T engine from Mitsubishi. However, I have never experienced it in the Evo, but I have driven many 1g/2g TELs and Galant VR-4s. The 4g63T very potent engine and it is what I cut my teeth on (yes I'm biased). You will get over having boost. I am quite content with the smooth power delivery of my M52 2.8l i6.

I know how you feel. The weather started to get bad around here so I started all of my winter projects on the Turbo so the engine is all torn apart right now. And of course, now that the car is apart, it's 60 and sunny.
It figures it would be nice out once I don't have the Turbo to drive. Damn you Ohio weather!

mmmmm....boost. I know what you mean. I was borrowing my dad's '05 M3 a little while ago and kept wondering where my usual big jolt of power was? It's funny how use to the kick the turbo gives.

We have a new Solstice GXP and it's a hell of a car. My slightly modded 951 is quicker though....at least in a straight line. My 951 dynoed at 234HP and 293TQ and the solstice on the same dyno, with right at 500 miles, dynoed at 221HP and 219TQ.

You could always buy mine. Not officially for sale yet, but will be next year due to the wife not liking the Saturn Station wagon anymore.
