I have had similar enounters. They roll on the gas and drop down on the tank and after a bit look back and see me within 1-2 cars of them.
I love the "double take" look
"I smoked that guy.....(turns) HOLY CRAP HE'S RIGHT THERE!" LOL
Of course, this is only with 600cc. 750 -1000 etc. Not a chance.

"Personally, 150mph is dumb enough to prove your an idiot on public streets but anything above that is just insanity.."
Agree 100%. And if it takes getting to those speeds for me to win, then I will just pull out and accept defeat. I am not really looking to win, but just stay as close as possible because this guy, like most bike riders, think they can demolish anything under 1,000hp

Yep!
I go on a local Orlando car forum (all makes and models) and they are always setting up races especially the "big dogs"; i.e. 600hp+
And always a 40-140, 50-150, 60-160, etc.
Which also allows for a car that might be a little slower than the other to still win if the faster car pulls out in the higher speeds and the slower car with a driver that has bigger ***** (less brains? can win.

That would be awesome!!
I told the guy it is up to him on time frame. I said if it is now then I will run him at 18-19 psi but if he gives me some time to tune for what the car/turbo is capable of, even on pump, I can run about 22-23psi. Which I would guestimate puts me at around 410-420whp.
And I havn't heard back. Maybe he was like "wow, this guy is willing to run me on pump alone....uh oh"

Todd,
your turbo is a 67mm?
That's the actual diameter or the inducer side of the compressor wheel?
If that's the case, that's really big!!
Isn't that too big for a 2.5l. If you want even medium spool-up characteristics, your back pressure would be too high to drive that compressor.
I know it's a little OT, but I'm just curious.

The compressor wheel is 67mm. It is the LR Super 75. As per Porschefile he is pretty sure it is basically a "T3/67". And I have the #8 hotside.

I get 1 bar in 4th at about 3,900-4,100 depending on ambient. As mornings like today (about 45 degrees here) I got 1 bar by about 3,700-3,800. And of course it is still making power all the way, and past, 6,500.
I am running about 18-19 and can run low 20's on pump, which I will be doing soon. Also, on cooler days, I can hit 17psi in FIRST gear
Yes, this turbo is a little too big for the 2.5L but it was out of a special situation with Dave L. and myself so I went with it.

Hey, any race with him and your 951 would be cool to see. And I would only be in the 400+whp area if I am in the 22-23psi range. I think at 19-20psi I would only be in the 350whp, give or take.

Gotcha. Yea, like I said to me, just staying in close range of a bike, 600cc, is the accomplishment.
What is stock R6, say 2000-2005, like in the 60-130 range?

Well its been raining here so i cant get out to run my friends R6. He said he would any day but not when its raining (i dont want to go that fast in rain either). When it stops ill have vid though!
I think the slip on means exhaust.
