i wouldnt say they are hard to work on. we work on them everyday. some things can take a while but every car is different. they are so over engineered its not funny.

I think the best solution for you (to achieve this look) would be to do the 968 tailight and have the top half made into a yellow lense like the 928s have. However, I can't remember what bulbs are where (i.e, blinkers, back ups, etc)

They are indeed overengineered. Rear A/C in a 2-door coupe? Oh pa-lease!

I own both a 86 951 and an 87 928s4. First I think the 968 tailights look better than a 928's. I am going to paint mine to match a 968. Second both cars suck to work on. I am leaving for germany monday and I am considering going to porsche and punching some engineers. Do not get me wrong they were designed well except for a mechanic. I love both cars but I use my 928 as my daily driver and for road trips. As for speed, come on the 928 is a torque monster and there are not many 951s that can catch my 928 including my 951 but I am working on that. Before I get all the fast 951s mad at me my 928 is supercharged and I am running 9psi at the moment and my 951 should be just as fast when I am finished with it. Yes it looks like a space ship but it also performs like one.

Dear rolex, the picture thingy is getting kind of annoying, I am the only one authorize to post pictures, I do it from time to time but if you keep doing it every post people are going to complain, with a justify reason. Also when you post the pictures is not as funny as when I do it, that's what many have told me in private messages.
TIA

9 would yeild maybe 30 more horses. The block and heads, when fueled properly, can take a good solid 13 or so.
There are some very small passages in the fuel rails, and the fuel is of course not even close to sequential, so the higher output motors have had some lean cylinders at Cyl 4 which is (route wise) at the end of the fuel rail passage.
