Default Fixing drain at gas cap

I was hoping for some tips as to how you have managed to install the rubber drain plug that captures excess gas and water inside the gas cap? I have the original rubber 'plug' which connects to a metal hose, which connects to the regular porsche hose. The rubber plug doesn't sit firmly enough to block out water, and I was wondering if it should be caulked to prevent water from seeping in. Any thought? Anyone have a pic of their draining system (car draining system that is)?

Thanks

I picked up a new one at the dealer. The new one was bigger and fit tight. Use a little lube when installing. If you remove the trunk carpet, you can reach up in there and disconnect the drains. Common leak point on 944's.
