w/o boosting, or low boosting almost zero
While boosting, depending on my heavy foot, first ever DE, 30 minutes consumed 1 liter (with K26/6).
Manual states 1.5liters/1,000kms on average.

For the archives, I will say that the 944 oil system is particularly prone to losing oil on any overfill.
At high revs, it is whipped up by the crank, sucked up in the AOS, then into the intake and burned - giving the appearance of consumption.
The weight of the oil carries it to foul #4 plug first.
So make sure you don't overfill your 944.

Okay, I guess my car is alright then. I can see why these cars do not like being neglected. I never check the oil on my honda, that same neglect would destroy my 944.

That is the wear limit. If you're burning 1.5l/1000km then it's time to rebuild.
