Sounds good, I actually have a friend with a bad crank. I'll guide him to this thread.

Also have a friend with an unused crank for sale, he knows it's value though.

Ok, my friend who has the bad crank said that he has no use for it and that I can have it.

ST- PM me if you want it, just pay for shipping. It is in Sweden.

IIRC the story behind it is that it was bought for a 3 liter project but when measured it was outside of the tolerances. It looks just fine.

How can it be outside the tolerances? I'm not disagreeing, it's just that I might be looking to do the same build and I didn't know that there were ones that work for a 3.0 and ones that don't? Also how much are these things going for a.t.m.?

Cool, I'll have someone swing by his house to pick it up. Once I have it in my hands I'll box it up and ship it.

It might take a few day since I am in Stockholm and the crank is in Malmö (6 hour drive apart).

Please know that we are definitely NOT building a 3.0 liter wth Ander's crank.

Does that mean that you are going all-assed out crazy and plan a 3.4 liter with a welded crank?

Why not make it 3.6?

I haven't had a drink since august 2005, wouldn't mind giving the car one though..

Darn it, and just when I did not need another reason to go on another trip to the US..

It would be fun visiting you crazy people.. Let's see what the shipping cost is, maybe I can deliver it in person if I can finance the rest of the trip..
