Question Questions about parts with pictures....

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...eID=1486851781

what does this bolt do?? I have the starter and heat shield hooked up now but this went to nothing??? (both the open ended hole and the stud/bolt)

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...eID=1486853314

this stud is above the starter by the slave cylinder line and I dont know what it goes to........ (the bolt has been taking off for one of the starter heat shield bolts. Hope I didnt need it)

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...eID=1486854455

Was wondering what the two holes in the middle of the intake bracket goto?? Prob the intake manifold itself right?? Just asking now so I dont mess up later

Also does anyone have a picture of the brake booster shield and how it sets in there...... I knew it was a pain to take out but I cant figure out how to get it back in. Thanks in advance cause I know you guys are the 951 gods haha

The first pic is the bolt with lock nut nut that keeps the rod for the clutch fork in the bellhousing. Tighten the bolt and run the nut against the bellhousing and you'll be fine.
I think the second pic is a bolt that holds a clip that holds the wiring going to the starter.

These might help with the manifold bracket question and the brake booster heat shield.

Those are two small bolts that connect the intake manifold bracket with those two heat shields located directly behind it.

wow I think Im missing some heat shields in that case. The car was missing a couple of things. Like the batwing on the underside as everyone calls it.

Ok I see where this heat shield goes but what goes in the 4 holes in the back?

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...eID=1490971981

Also it doesnt seem like there is enough room for the 3 inch lindsey downpipe and the heat shield shown?? can anyone confirm if its ok to just get rid of ??

These pics are from a couple months ago when I had my turbo out, it's now all together and I can't see those heat shields very well with the intake manifold and everything back on. Hopefully these pics will help.

Regarding the LR downpipe hitting the heat shield: I don't know what others have done, but I would just bend the heat shield. I don't think you want to keep that off. Just my opinion.

Regarding the holes on the back of that heat shield you're holding, I don't remember anything going through those holes on those two extensions that stick out the rear of it. Again, I can't see it now on my car. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Oh, and for God sakes, clean that stuff before putting it back on, would ya!!! Mine looks way different now than it did in these pics.
