Default best injector cleaner

Whats the best fuel injector cleaner? My injectors arent clogged or anything so a professional cleaning is out of the question. I just feel like it couldent hurt to clean them since i just put a new pump, drained and cleaned the tank screen, changed the hoses to and from the filter, and put a new filter.

I am with ibkevin, I always buy gas with Techron in it. From what I understand Porsche recommends it for their new cars. Injectors are injectors so I would think it would apply to our cars. Having said that I just bought new ones this summer to the tune of $600. One of the old ones had a crack in the connector so I went overboard. I did notice some improvement in throttle response, hard to say about top end. Maybe I will dyno in January again.

for what its worth, I buy whatever gas is cheapest (typically grocery store gas, low octane). I never run any cleaners through the system. When I sent my injectors off to witchhunter, the report showed that they started off quite good before cleaning. The difference in before/after cleaning was only about 2% as I recall.

I like Redline SL-1 as well as the Techron and Amosil PI. The Redline treats up to 100 gallons for continual usage or the whole bottle for a good quick clean-up.

What about Lubro Moly? They are very good products and I have had great results in the past. I haven't tried anything yet in the 951 but that's best here in Germany anyway.

Have a great day everyone.

Fill the tank with only 5 gallons of fuel and dump a gallon of xylene, that will clean your injectors.
