What ET should I get when running 18x9,5" wheels?
Can anyone help me calculate the best ET on a 1986 951 with 9,5" wide wheels on all corners? I am considering buying a set of custom made wheels for the car.
TIA

9.5 on thr front will touch. i use 9s on the front and 10s on the back. the 9s just touch the on the inside near lock and just miss the fender, just. use 23mm offset on the 86 all round.

I don't mind if it rubs at or near full lock since it is a track car. I also don't have any inner fenders on the car. I know a person here in Sweden who has used 295's on the front successfully so it is possible. He has a car with late ET though.
Are you using 9" wide wheels with 23 mm ET on the front?

yes thats right, 9inch wide with 23mm et on the front. mine just touch using 255 toyo RA1 Rspec. of course it does depend on the tyre you run too. you have to be carefull, on the right hand front you have fuel lines running up the inner guard, close to lock this is where the wheel touches. i made an aluminium plate to cover them.

I am planning on running Dunlop Direzza 265/35-18" tires, that's why I specificly need 9,5" wheels.
Working at Goodyear Dunlop has a few advantages when it comes to buying tires but I will be limited to the somewhat limited sizes.

Hi. Why not use stock offseth. The only consern is not to toutch the calipers.
I have Lindsey 17 back 9,5 with 45 offseth and use 21mm spacer. It fitt
verry well. Im only using 255/40.

I don't have a problem using stock offset but since the 951 was never equipped with a 9,5" wheel there is very limited availability to stock offset data..
