Default Sunroof delete cars, do you have bracing instead??

I saw someone post that there would be bracing instead of sunroof in the roof for sunroof delete cars. Is this true or is this guy talking out of his a$$ as usual?
Thanks.

I have a late sunroof delete car, but I'm not about to peel my good headliner back to see. That being said, it does not feel like anything but sheetmetal when you press on the roof - I don't think there is anything under there........but I could be wrong, since I have never actually looked.

Sharky is correct - no bracing, just sheetmetal.

He's talking out his ***, no bracing just sheetmetal. I also have a late model ('87) non-sunroof car.

**Edit**

Forgot to add, I watched when they ripped out the headliner to replace it with a fresh black perforated leather one...that's how i know

^^^^^

That's awesome - don't see very many late non-sunroof cars. I know of about half a dozen in the U.S.

There was a thread started a "how many sunroof delete cars in the US" thread, I've come to understand there are quite a few. I'm modding my car completely but not touching that perfect roof!

Yeah the roof is pretty empty.

My car is an 86' 951 with sunroof delete. I started a thread a few months ago called the "Official sunroof delete picture thread".

When we removed my sunroof, we ordered the non-sunroof roof from Porsche...not a sunroof section, the entire roof.

It's just one big chuck of metal; with no reinforcements...Maybe they knew we were going to put in roll cages!

I just looked at the 968 TRS which, needless to say, is sunroof delete. No additional factory bracing...unless you consider the Matter cage factory bracing.
