Default Help installing Lindsey stock replacemnt SS fuel lines

Hello All,

I've done a search and could not find any good info. Does anyone have a picture or can give me a tip on how to install the Lindsey stock replacement fuel lines? After studying the parts that I was sent, I have no idea how to connect them to the stock fuel rail (the fpr)!

This is what I bought,

Thanks,
Mike

the "different ends", one clamp and one hose fitting - the clamp goes to the FPR, the black/gold hose fitting goes to the dampner. The other ends, which you will have to use the tubing cutter, hook into the solid lines with the same style fittings, behind the passenger fender liner. You have one that is 8 mm and one that is 6.

You will have to cut the crimps on the old lines; cut the lines about 2" apart so that the couplings don't bind against each other when you put the lines back in their holder.

Take the hose clamp Lindsey sends for the FPR hose end and throw it in the garbage. If you use that clamp you are waiting for a fire. Go to a parts store and get a fuel injection clamp instead. Or better yet, send all of the Lindsey pieces back, go buy some fuel injection hose and 4 clamps..and make your own hoses from the stock fittings. Cover the whole thing with fire braid and you are done...at a third the price of pretty stainless wrap that is doing absolutely nothing.

Why would lindsay do that? There doesn't even seem to be a difference in price. What size fuel injector clamp do I need? I am about to install the Lindsay line. I am looking on amazon.com
Amazon Amazon
? $5 for fuel injector clamp?

I found one that looks like the Lindsay clamp and is more expensive at $7.50. It also says to be used with Fuel lines:
Amazon Amazon

Something doesn't add up...

The only thing bad about the clamp on the FPR is that you are trying to clamp SS. It is a low pressure return.
