Hey Guys:

I need some input here. First let me say I am not a graphic designer, web builder, or a techie of any sort. Bascially I have a web site running, which I update the second we get parts, are installing things, or have some new findings too. Anyway, I just added a new "Intro Flash Page". I would like to know if you like it or not. The hosting company only gives you so many templates to work with, and I thought this was the best one as it relates to cars and is a bit modern.

So I welcome everyone's thoughts, and I may start a poll where people can vote - I want to make that simple. I've never added a poll before, so bare with me if I can't figure that part out, sorry.

It looks cool and whatnot, I just don't like having to go through an intro to a website. Wastes my time and makes me click once more.

The people that don't like it aren't used to going to professional websites. I'd have one like it if I could do it. But I just don't have the chronological resources right now.

er, i'm gonna have to call BS on that. unless you want to clarify your definition of 'professional websites'. most of the big corporate websites don't have intros like that, because people don't have time to sit there watching flash intros or clicking through them - they just want to get in quick and get the info they need.

I despise flash intros BUT I think it's cool on some sites (including yours). Studies have shown that people hate it (see link). I think it depends on the product or service being offered at any particular site. Example: Auto site = Good, Legal Advice site = Bad. You have offered the option to skip the intro and that's easy enough.
