I bought the catch can from the original post a while ago and im very happy with the quality. I have it mounted where the washer tank used to be and now im trying to find a small ball valve for the drain so i can clamp a hose on and drain it right to the botom of the car into whatever.

The top of the AOS connects to the large diameter hard pipe underneath the intake manifold. That large diameter pipe runs foward toward the front of the engine where it couples into a flexible rubber hose. That hose (last picture I sent you) then goes to the J-boot. I inserted the dump can at this connection point. The hard pipe goes "to" the dump can. The output of the dump can returns back to the J-boot.

I know it's hard to see in the pictures but just think about it a little bit. The hard part was adapting the original pipe and hose diameters (approximately 5/8") to the smaller 5/16" hose that came with the dump can. You just have to play around with the hose routing to make it all fit in there.

They are Fikse MachV with black anodized centers. 17X8 front, 17X9 rear. I'll send you a pic at your email address when I get time.

THanks it makes more sense now.

Those wheels look real good on the car.

I will talk to Manny at Saiko Michi and ask if he can offer 1/2 NPt inlets for us. It should be a simple proceedure for him.

He is a friend of a friend and now has another company that is duplicating his product. I guess you need a patent for everything now.

I like the mounting location and you may want to send him some pictures.

I could have swapped out the 5/16" barbed fittings on the can myself I suppose but routing a larger diameter pair of hoses the way I did would also be more difficult. If I don't seem to be getting enough draw from the intake system the way it is I might switch it around to larger hose later .

Still lots of snow and ice (and now gravel from all the sand trucks) on the road here so I imagine it might be a bit longer before I can get a good test drive in.

I'm way ahead of you. We have been talking for about a month and he has a prototype for a larger diameter can with 1/2" npt ports.

http://www.saikoumichi.com/951_OCC_RnD.htm

We are struggling a bit with the mounting bracket. Should have something ready to go in the next 2-3 weeks.

When I ordered mine last month I told him it was a 951 application. Would have been nice if he told me about this newer model in the works...
