Any $ value in Guru MAP system?
Is a used Guru Racing MAP system, chips, and Link II system w/handheld programmer worth anything? Also, can the Link II be adapted to an MAF?

I sold mine about six months ago for ~$350 with hand held controller, chips, intake...blah blah blah. They're still out there and some folks do still run em, but the market is drying up quickly.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm pretty ignorant on the Guru MAP but were Danno's chips so far off base that the mapping issues couldn't be resolved with the programmer? It claimed to have +/- 127% cell adjustment. Also can the Link programmer possibly be used with an MAF in a similar manner as MAP as long as someone knowledgable burns the chips?

I ran my Guru MAP II on my K27/6 86' for 3 years plus year round in Michigan. I was happy. I plan on swapping the turbo and boxes on to my Turbo S. The rolling oil spreader 86' is parts now. bill

I have a box and programmer but no chips I'm willing to dump insanely cheap. We were gonna adapt it to the turbo festiva but went with something different. I had mine for 3 years or better and liked it pretty well but I went for a vitesse maf when the opportunity arose. I'm yet to get to use it though

My system actually ran pretty well once I got it dialed in. The challenges for me were the following:
1) customer support
2) Logging data (I finally soldered a wire into the Link box and logged it with my Tech Edge Wideband)
3) Throttle Response (it was always laggy, but you can make it better by setting the TPS past its initial click point.)
Even with these issues I put down 325HP @5800 RPM with leaky headers. Probably could have squeezed more out if I had run her up to 6200RPM like everybody else.

I had pretty decent results with a Guru/Link MAP & Guru Chips (320HP @ 15PSI). You can get the fuel mixtures where you want - there is more than enough range of adjustment using the hand controller.
