Default 993 Cup Wheels!

I probably should have posted this on the wheels forum and there is probably already been discussion about this several times, but i figured that most people here have these types of wheels on their 944's/951's. My question was regarding the width of the wheels. I have an 87 951 and was wanting to make sure that 17x7's and 17x9's would fit fine. The offset is also 55 in front and 33 in the rear...do these numbers sound right? Thanks for your help.

I have a set of cup II's on my cars (both updated to late offset). Fit perfectly with 255/275 tires on them.

9" ET33? Are you sure?

99.99999% of Cup 2's out there are ET55.

et33 wont fit. OEM Cup IIs did not come with that offset. So if they are actually 33mm offset, they are aftermarket and would be made for an early offset car, and will not fit a late offset 944.

You might want to make sure those aren't aftermarket Mille Miglia 993 Cups. They had a built in spacer for early offset and they weighed a freaking ton! Just athought, the offset stated is incorrect for sure on a later car.

The seller just added a note that all 4 wheels are 55mm offsets...17x7 in front 17x9 in back...if the spacers are built in..i hear they do weigh alot..but im not looking at these for track wheels...just a simple buy to update the look of my current 16 inch "sewer style" wheels lol

In this case ask for the 993 part number on the inside of the wheel and you are set. I have them too - not too heavy at all.

Hey Special Tool...thanks for the info...im "snipe-ing" on ebay for them....guy said they came off a 928 S4....i noticed in vertex auto that they are about 280.00 a piece...the center caps are included on this one...so at the current price they are now...should look good...but as the auction comes to close..i'm sure i'll see a slight spike in the prices....lol
