I already have the hood, gotta paint some parts anyway.... hood is already stripped to the metal...

nm, I googled it. It looks okay to me, but what does that air pocket do at high speeds?

the 931 motor ran hot so it was to help cool them down along with the 4 vents in the header panel

In a 951 with cr control you can use it to cool the cc unit off. =-)

im trying to be tactfully tastefull, dont want to look to guady. But as I said i would make a twin duct in it. Im also going to be dropping the foglights and ad those brake ducts but customize them with a small fog light ala the 993 turbo S ducts.

If I'm not mistaken, the 931 duct would force cool air down onto the headers.
Not a good thing for spool up.

There is a pic of one in the gallery somewhere, I think a guy named Keith did one in red a few years ago. I'll see if I can find it.

Looks great..... but do you really want air (water) going in ?? Hot air removal was my thinking for the louvers I did, even if it does not look as good as the 931 hood.

It's been on a list of possibles for me for a long long time, and probably won't happen anytime soon, but there's another catch:

What to do with the mounting? If not mistaken, doesn't the 931 hood come with a prop instead of the 951's hydraulic lifts? I suppose the answer is to find someone to weld in the lift attachment points.
